TREES
They are generally termed ‘silk’ as a means of differentiating them from plastic. While actual silk used to be the favored fabric, synthetic textile material such as polyester is mainly used today. Velvets and latex are now also giving a "touch me" feel to the florals and greenery.
The quality of artificial trees, artificial plants and silk greenery has improved dramatically in the past 10 years. Often, you have to touch and feel one of our artificial trees to know that is it is not real, but you will be forgiven for mistaking ours for actual living ones.
Avant Gardens is well known for our reproduction of the Agave. This is our signature tree, and we are known for the only company producing this pain-staking tree. It adapts itself so well to contemporary, transitional, Southwestern and just has its own unique POW!
Our custom is to style the tree in specific shapes so the branches and leaves rise up and over doors for easy opening; or enhance curves of a stairway, or to lift your eye to show-off high windows, ceilings or art work, yet stay life-like while increasing the beauty of your interior or exterior.
