The Initial Dallas Design Consultation

Avant Gardens will schedule a Dallas design consultation at your home or office and offer suggestions to pull the room together, to give it a finished look, to create different styles together or maybe just add some color and "life" to a room.

 

After looking through a portfolio and some discussion, we will take pictures and measurements. These measurements will take into account keeping walks ways free, to accent high placed windows or art, etc. In some cases we can provide you with the pictures taken with drawings on them so you can actually have a representation of what the room will look like with the new product; a basic Before & After. Once the decisions are made we go back to the studio and start the creating.

 

How They are Built

 

Avant Gardens works with natural tree trunks, choosing the right sizes and shaped trunks from several hundred in stock. Keep in mind, these trunks are made by nature and we create our imitation of nature by choosing just the right combination of trunks These trunks no longer have any roots, so no care is ever needed again.

 

We drill into the natural tree trunks gluing in the silk branches at just the right area's to creative the tree to specifications from our consultation, pictures and measurements. When an unusual shape is needed the trunks are made from real barked shaved from trees and glued on to a man made shaped tree skeleton. Others are actual tree trunks from one inch to seven inches wide depending on the size and style chosen.

 

For home, office and especially commercial work, our designs and suggestions will include being "People Proof". Heights that don't interfere with people walking by, or being obtrusive in aisle ways or blocking views, and where curious little hands won't be a problem.

 

The same attention to detail is given to our floral designs. We gather the right colors, styles andshapes, imitating the art of nature nestled amid life like green leaves. We have several styles of containers to choose from, or we can use YOUR favorite vase.

 

The Installation Process

 

Upon delivery, Avant Gardens will set everything up with any last minute touches or changes (because sometimes you just have to SEE it to decide!). The designer for both the trees and the florals does the delivery so the final touches are perfect.

 

Avant Garden's creations can be seen adding the perfect ambiance to restaurants and balancing character, whimsy and nature’s touch to the learning process at Montessori schools. We’ve built up the natural scenery of high rise apartments and created a peaceful and celebrated atmosphere in churches. Home is our sanctuary and we would love to show you what you have never imagined could happen to your peaceful place of refuge.
